Q: What are my responsibilities as a new member?

A: As a pledge brother, you will be required to meet once a week with your pledge class to learn the history of the fraternity and our chapter.  You will be encouraged to attend the informal chapter meetings every Sunday at 6pm.  The only other expectation is to complete 15 hours of community service.  We encourage you to become as involved as possible to make the most of your pledging semester.


Q: What are the required academics to pledge Phi Gamma Delta?

A: To pledge Phi Gamma Delta as an incoming freshman, you must have a high school GPA of 3.0.  As a returning WKU student, you must have a minimum college cumulative GPA of 2.75.


Q: How much does joining Phi Gamma Delta cost?

A: Dues during the pledging semester total cost are $538.  However, if you earn a 3.2 GPA your pledging semester, you will receive the $250 AAA Scholarship following timely receipt of appropriate documents by the Scholarship Chairman, making pledge dues $288.


Q: Is there any hazing in Phi Gamma Delta?

A: Absolutely not. Chi Eta, WKU, and the Fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta have a strict zero-tolerance policy for hazing.  If you have any concerns, please contact our chapter president Jonathan Greene at (859) 494-6828. You can also learn about Phi Gamma Delta’s stance on hazing here.


Q: Am I required to live in the fraternity house?

A: There is no formal policy requiring brothers to live in the house.
