Recruitment

Welcome to Phi Gamma Delta, Where Great Men Become Excellent Men.

Rush Fiji 2011Phi Gamma Delta at Western Kentucky University prides itself on five core values: Friendship, Knowledge, Service, Morality, and Excellence

The Chi Eta Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta consists of a group of men, not merely looking for a better social life, but earnestly seeking to improve themselves. What does this pursuit look like? Putting academia above social life, running hundreds of miles to raise money for the American Red Cross, and biking all the way across the country to battle Alzheimer’s, a disease impacting millions of families around the world. None of these feats could be accomplished without brotherhood. We believe friendship is the sweetest influence because without brothers encouraging each other, achieving our core values would be impossible. We remind each other excellence is not found by comparing ourselves to others; it consists of setting your sights high and never looking to the right or left. We want men who are striving to be men of excellence and tired of doing it alone.

Check our brotherhood out yourself! This spring, we will be playing basketball, soccer, football, and ultimate frisbee. On top of that, we will be hanging out at the house each night, frequenting Taco Bell, and making too many trips to the Great American Donut Shop. Even if you are not interested in rushing this fall or in rushing at all, we still want to see you come out. We will never pressure anyone to join our ranks; it is your job to see what we are about and make that decision on your own.
