Pledge Education
The purpose of Pledge Education is to prepare men for membership in Phi Gamma Delta. This educational period serves as a time of mutual evaluation between prospective members and brothers. Along the way prospective members will learn about chapter and fraternity organization and operations, and the ideals and values of the Fraternity. The program is highlighted by a pledge class retreat, a visit to the International Headquarters of Phi Gamma Delta, a pledge class philanthropy event, an outstanding Big Brother program, and weekly meetings. Above all else we hope to provide a positive experience for prospective members in which they are able to learn, share experiences, develop friendships, and, ultimately, initiate into the Delta Colony at Western Kentucky University.
