Brotherhood
When young men make the decision to join Phi Gamma Delta there are often many various reasons behind their selection. Yet out of all the typical reasons, the most reoccurring is by far Friendship.
Once a member of Phi Gamma Delta, we understand that as an undergraduate brother you will experience all aspects of College and Greek life that WKU has to offer. Though your time may often be consumed with studies and other commitments, we strive to keep our Brotherhood strong because we realize it is one of the most crucial elements of our Fraternity. Philanthropic events, socials, community service, and other aspects of Fiji may fade upon graduation, but in Phi Gamma Delta you are a brother for life and our Brotherhood committee exists to strengthen those life long bonds of friendship.
Here at WKU, our Chi Eta chapter has been blessed with the rare opportunity of being a very young chapter. Upon chartering on May 1, 2010 one of our biggest goals as a Fraternity has been to take advantage of our chapters age and begin traditions that will last for years to come. While most Fraternity’s, including other chapters of Phi Gamma Delta, live out traditions from the past, we are currently starting those traditions, such as our annual “Weekend in the Mountains,” a spring brotherhood retreat to Gatlinburg, TN.
All in all, it is our goal as the Brotherhood Committee to provide each brother with every possible opportunity to not only enjoy their college years, but create friendships and memories that will last a life time.
